Lumberjack girl

Last 3 days consisted of cutting, hauling,splitting,piling 6 bush cords of birch.  Wow so sore, you really do have muscles that you don't know you have UNTIL they are SORE!!!!

Rain rain go away

Rained all day yesterday and suppose to rain all day today.  So no wood cutting but stair sanding, yes still at that.  Got the railing rungs done that was messy, sanding black paint.
Have picked out 2 stains to go with flooring a light and a dark.  The dark requires less stain and time kinda leaning toward that one ...the light requires four coats and still is not colourd enough for me....might try one more coat.



Might even try dark walnut the second one down??? Hhhmmmmm....

Aaahh sunshine

Finally able to do my studies outside...mmmm sunshine feels so good. Feel like I accomplished a lot today, raked most of front yard, laundry on the line went for a walk.  Good day, I always feel better when the sun is out.  Which better happen lots this summer, cause it feels like I live on planet Hoth!!!!

So I found out that you can eat 3 egg whites for 1 weight watcher point vs 2 pts for 1 whole egg.  So it got me wondering what an egg white
sandwhich would taste like.....must find out.....lol my body might just go into convulsions for eating something so healthy
So I put 3 egg whites(the crows are thanking me right now for my yolks of kindness) 1 tbsp of mayo which was slightly not enough, 1tsp of hemp hearts, 1green onion, celery seed, lettus and whole wheat bread WOW!!!! So how did it taste.....well not bad but I think the flavor is in the yolks, pretty bland tasting. Right now my taste buds think the crow got the better portion but my waistline thanks me.....lesson learned can't have your yolk and eat it too....BAAHaaaaaa!!

Hemp Hearts

Finally found Hemp Hearts at our local food store, lol I never thought that would be possible but they have them and I am thankful to have found them.

Apparently they are really good for you they are full of omega 3's, have anti-inflamitory properties and all sorts of goodness including appetite supression, they prevent you from being hungry all day.  And they taste pretty good too, kinda like sunflower seeds, quite yummy just off a spoon.  You can sprinkle them on oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, in smoothies all sorts of stuff.  They also suppose to give you energy and who couldn't use more of that.

Hey HOOO I just found that blogger has an app might help me be a less lazy blogger.....time will tell.

Made these this afternoon...reverse P.B cups

2 cups of peanut butter, 2 cups of brown sugar, two eggs, 2 teaspoons of baking soda, 1 tsp of vanilla.  Mix very well, drop by tablespoons into lined muffin tin use a wine cork to make a dent in each then Overfill with chocolate chips bake at 350° for 10 minutes turning halfway thru.

Officially I think I will call myself the LAZY BLogger

Stairs are still ongoing project, a very slow one.  We just had my Mom and dad up for the week, had a good visit except for the part where mom sprained her ankle :( bummer.  Our load of wood came, and we still must finish the back gate, seems like we are juggling a whole lot of projects at the moment.  Ah well summer is always a crazy time, so busy and so short in the north.
