Solo desktop aquarium filter modification

I took apart the submersible filter and remove the carbon container.
Then added some bio media
That's much better for beneficial bacteria.

Betta vacuum DYI

So aquarium vacuums are very large if you own a beta you probably have a smaller tank. So these large aquarium vacuums are pretty much useless.
So I decided there has to be something I can come up with that's better than I did and you can make too.
Things you will need
A water bottle
Some airline tubing
A drill and drill bit
I chopstick and rubber bands(optional)
That's it!
Drill two wiles in top of lid. Make sure they're not too big and that the airline tubing it's very snuggly in them.

Thread the one to being into the The one that you were going to place in your mouth make sure that it sits above the one that you're going to put in the aquarium.
You might need some pliers to pull the tubing through the cap.
And this is the finished product your very own DIY Beta vacuum!  Now go make one!

Growing Basil from grocery store clippings

Thought I'd try this. Just bought some basil at the grocery store and re clipped the ends and stuck them in water.  Also made a cute self watering container out of an Elian water bottle that I'll use for it once it gets roots (I read that unlike other plants that can go with one good watering a week basil needs a moderate amount everyday.... If it gets roots😁

Starting on the main floor, flooring

Started, but why is it that when you start a big project life gets in the way, it will be a long haul.
Cork underlay started
Chalk line started, keep in mind you have to account for the lip on your boards.  We had to redo the line because we forgot tee hee.

My my indulgence

So I have not had a coffee in years, the caffiene bothers me.  Oh you yummy creamy dark beverage with foam on top, I miss you latte.  But I have found another.  Tea chi latte.  Here is how to do it.
You need milk in a mason jar, tea, sugar to sweeten if that's how you roll.
I use Bengal spice, it's a celestial tea and is caffeine free.
When you steep your tea only fill cup half with hot water.  While it's steeping, pour milk in a mason jar, add your sugar.

Put lid on jar, and shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds.

It will be all frothy and foamy like this. Take the lid off.
Microwave it for 45-50 seconds.  Use a spoon to hold back the foam fill the rest of the cup with milk then spoon foam on top and there you go tea latte.
